Businesses today are trying to streamline the social media process and maximize the power of social media marketing using tools like CoTweet to manage their efforts.

CoTweet recognizes there are often multiple people behind the scenes of a successful social media campaign. The need for collaboration and internal workflow inspired CoTweet’s ‘assign’ tool, a feature allowing users to assign messages to each other. This feature has been expanded in CoTweet 3.0, allowing users to assign and re-assign messages to multiple users, as well as view the internal conversation thread of assignments and notes right from the CoTweet inbox. These features can also be accessed on the go using the CoTweet iPhone app.

Curious to see just how simple assigning is in CoTweet 3.0? See for yourself!

The CoTweet team has been around the world and back again fueled by the conversation surrounding Connections 2010.

The CoTweet team has been around the world and back again fueled by the conversation surrounding Connections 2010.

In September we joined more than 2,000 marketers and ExactTarget customers in Indianapolis for the company’s annual user conference, and this month Jesse Engle, CEO of CoTweet, traveled to London to attend Connections UK, the first international extension of the event.

The energy surrounding Connections was phenomenal. Highlights from Indianapolis include keynote presentations by Sir Richard Branson, Twitter CEO Dick Costolo, ExactTarget CEO Scott Dorsey and Twitter’s Elizabeth Weil. Elizabeth also kicked off Connections UK with a keynote focusing on the benefit of engaging in social media in the ever-changing direct marketing landscape. The UK event consisted of nearly 20 keynote speakers and five industry-specific, educational breakout sessions.

We were excited to connect with CoTweet users in the UK including Jason Mighty, from Aurora Fashions. In an interview with Jesse Engle, Jason shared the value he finds in using CoTweet to interact with customers and manage dialogue around their brand, “We are not just trying to gather followers, friends, fans and likes, but also finding out how they communicate within that space so we can talk to them in a way that doesn’t just feel like a corporate brand, but an individually represented brand.”

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. To get a feel for the CoTweet experience at Connections 2010, check out the Connections video montage featuring event highlights and see interviews with CoTweet customers in the UK, including Aurora Fashions and moneysupermarket.com
